Master Qin Xupu performed and conducted two half-day workshops in Michigan in Oct. 2015.
Master Qin, Xupu 秦旭普 is ranked seventh duan in Chinese martial art system. He is an outstanding disciple of head Grandmaster He, Yolu 和有禄. Master Qin is a Chinese national intangible cultural heritage He style Taijiquan seventh generation representative inheritor. Master Qin is proficient in He style Tai Chi Chuan forms, weapons, and push-hands.
He Style Tai Chi Chuan Brief Introduction:
和式太极拳，中国传统太极拳六大流派之一，国家级非物质文化遗产，发源于河南温县赵堡镇，因地域亦称赵堡太极拳。创始人和兆元（1810——1890），出身于中医世家，精通理学，曾任皇宫侍卫首领。He Style Tai Chi Chuan is one of the six major Tai Chi Chuan styles in China. It is a Chinese national intangible cultural heritage and is originated at Zhao Bao Town, Wen County in Henan Province. It is also called Zhao Bao Tai Chi Chuan due to its region. The originator, He, Zhao-Yuan (1810 – 1890) was born in a traditional Chinese Medicine Doctor generation family. He is proficient in science and was the head of Ching Dynasty emperor’s personal guards.

The form is called three-in-one form which includes form, push-hands, and sparring all three into one. It can make you slippery like a fish, sticky like a glue, soft like cotton and hard like steel. It is especially famous for its “magical Kau” (Shoulder or Body strike) in the martial arts world.
